Premier League new-boys QPR are chasing Benfica striker Javier Saviola.
The Mirror says Saviola, 29, who has won 40 caps for Argentina, is ready to leave Portuguese giants Benfica and could be available on a one-year loan or in a cut-price £2million move.
Championship winners QPR are considering striking a deal for him, which would be a high-profile transfer and also land them an international on a budget.
Saviola, who's also turned out for River Plate, Barcelona, Monaco, Sevilla, Real Madrid, wants a new challenge after mixed fortunes with Lisbon side Benfica.
