QPR striker Eduardo Vargas has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The Chilean international scored the opening goal in the 4-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion before he was replaced after falling on his left knee.
Scans have revealed that Vargas suffered a grade two medial collateral ligament injury and could be out for 10 to 12 weeks.
The 25-year old Napoli loanee featured in 21 league games for the R's and scored three goals during his season-long spell at Loftus Road.
