Tottenham midfielder Andros Townsend suggests his loan spell with QPR last season has helped him put his best foot forward this campaign.
The 22-year old has started the past three Premier League matches for Spurs after impressing manager Andre Villas-Boas and he puts it down to his time at Loftus Road under Harry Redknapp last campaign which gave him the impetus to step up.
"The time I spent at QPR last season was massive for me. I would say it was almost make or break because it was my chance to show what I could do at the highest level," he said.
"I have confidence in my own ability, but until you show people you can play in the Premier League that counts for nothing."
