QPR legend Rodney Marsh has slammed the influence of captain Joey Barton.
Marsh feels the Rs will go down with Barton leading the players.
"I look at QPR as my club," Marsh told talkSPORT. "I had great times at Manchester City and Fulham but QPR is my club but I look at them and think the players they bought like Kieron Dyer, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joey Barton were not the players QPR needed.
"He is not a QPR player, he's a marquee name and I don't believe he has the best interests of the club at heart in the slightest and he's been a complete waste of time for me.
"We need leaders on the pitch and the only leaders are Clint Hill and Shaun Derry and I don't think that's enough. I think QPR are now in desperate trouble and sadly I think we will go down.""If I was (owner) Tony Fernandes I would have a plan A, B and C in place and none of them would include Barton.
