QPR boss Harry Redknapp is eyeing Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll.
The Daily Mail says Redknapp made an enquiry about taking 21-year-old on a permanent move to Loftus Road but Spurs do not want to lose one of their brightest homegrown talents.
Carroll, however, believes this is a season when he needs regular football to continue his development.
Carroll cannot envisage it at White Hart Lane after the recruitment drive funded by Gareth Bale's move to Real Madrid.
He will seize the chance to work again with Redknapp and be part of a promotion push with Rangers.
