QPR launching bid for Marseille striker Loic Remy

QPR are eyeing Olympique Marseille striker Loic Remy.

L'Equipe says Rs boss Harry Redknapp has been monitoring the progress of the French international for over 18 months and was keen to take Remy to Tottenham Hotspur last year.

Despite leaving Spurs at the end of last season, Redknapp has continued to track the striker's development and is prepared to offer £10million for 25-year-old Remy.

It is unlikely that Marseille would allow Remy to leave the club for anything below their £10m valuation as the striker still has three years to run on his contract which expires in June 2015.
