QPR are chasing Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka.

The People says Anelka will be offered a route out of Chelsea by QPR in January.

Anelka is facing up to the fact he will be heading out of the club next year. The 32-year-old would become a free agent in the summer but Rangers boss Neil Warnock is looking to swoop in January.

They are willing to pay wages of up to £90,000 a week to get the goals that could keep them in the Premier League, and Anelka would love the chance to remain in London.
