QPR land Derby keeper Camp

Queens Park Rangers have signed goalkeeper Lee Camp from Derby for £300,000.

The 22-year-old, who fell out of favour with Rams boss Billy Davies last season, has joined the Coca-Cola Championship club on a three-year contract on the same day that Derby signed Ipswich keeper Lewis Price.

Camp had previously enjoyed two loan spell with Rangers, the first in 2004 and the second during the final three months of last term.

Hoops manager John Gregory told the club's official website, www.qpr.co.uk: "It feels like an eternity since I started competing for the permanent transfer of Lee Camp, but I have finally got in my number-one priority of the summer.

"Lee played an integral part in helping us maintain our Championship status last season.

"He is an outstanding goalkeeper and his arrival is a massive boost, not only to the squad but also to our supporters."
