QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar has played down his Chelsea shirt incident.
Cesar moved to play down the incident on Tuesday night, issuing a statement on QPR's official website qpr.co.uk claiming he had worn the shirt as part of joke for David Luiz's birthday.
The statement read: "I would like to clarify that last night I attended David Luiz's fancy dress birthday party and as a joke for my friend, my family and I dressed as him.
"I want to assure everyone that absolutely no offence was intended."
