QPR goalkeeper Robert Green has urged England coach Roy Hodgson to stand by Manchester City's underfire Joe Hart.
Green became a national laughing stock following his horrific howler in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa when he allowed US star Clint Dempsey's daisycutter to roll under him and into the net.
He told the Mirror: "I've been there before and love getting a whole load of stick for it.
"You come back for more. Whatever happened didn't kill me then and it won't kill me now. I'm still playing.
"Joe will take some stick like any other professional but it's water off a duck's bag and you just crack on and work hard.
"He's a great lad and a great professional. That stuff doesn't really matter."
