QPR keeper Green hoping for England recall

QPR goalkeeper Robert Green isn't giving up on an England recall.

Green has made 12 appearances for England so far and remains keen to add to that tally under Roy Hodgson.

He said: "I still want to be involved. I am there. I enjoyed the Euros although I didn't play. I enjoyed pulling the shirt back on in the friendly against Norway and it's a wonderful feeling and a massive honour.

"I have been involved for the best part of 10 years and I'm still 32. You look at the guys involved in the Premier League in Mark Schwarzer and Brad Friedel, and people like that, that keep going on into their 40s. You look at them and they are as good as ever.

"It's something that I could give another best part of 10 years to so it's something I still want to be involved in and it's another thing to have competition with England."
