Former Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Reece Crowther has been linked with a move to A-League club Wellington Phoenix.

With the departure of Glen Moss (to Melbourne Victory), the Phoenix need to shore up their goalkeeping stocks and the American-born Crowther will undergo a month-long trial in Wellington.

The 20-year old, who grew up in Sydney, has been with QPR since 2006 and was a regular in the club's reserves side.
