QPR hoping to seal deal for Nancy’s Diakite

QPR manager Mark Hughes has revealed that he is hoping to soon complete a deal for Nancy midfielder Samba Diakite.

The 23-year old Mali international has emerged on the R’s radar and Hughes has indicated that a move is imminent.

"We are hoping to progress that," he said. "He is a player I like and I think he will help us.

"We're hopeful that the conversations we're having will lead to something but nothing is confirmed as yet."
