QPR boss Neil Warnock says that Kieron Dyer will be kept on despite sustaining a season-ending injury.
The 32-year old is set to undergo surgery on the foot he injured on opening day and is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign but Warnock says he the club will retain his services even though he will be left out of the 25-man squad that has to be named in January.
"But, having spoke to Tony Fernandes and the rest of the shareholders, we want to support Kieron in this time, even though it may mean he is not in our 25 for the rest of the season.
"I feel he has a lot to offer the Club. We will be involving him in many aspects of the Club while he rehabilitates.""We are aware that Kieron's contract can be terminated in January," he told the club's official website.
