QPR have held transfer talks with Inter Milan.
Former Napoli boss Gianni di Marzio is an adviser to the R's and revealed talks with Inter director Marco Branca.
He told calciomercatonews.com: "The other day president Paladini spoke with Branca.
"We asked for Sulley Muntari, but he costs too much."
Asked about Inter pair Denis Alibec and Joel Obi, Di Marzio added: "No, I can confirm that we are not following the young Inter players. We are in the Premier League and we need to build a team to try to escape relegation, we can not take the 'kids'.
"Of course there are some players we like at Inter."
