Brazilian centre-back Bruno Perone could be offered terms by QPR.
The Daily Mail says Perone have flown to Milano Marittima for the club's six-day training camp.
Perone, who spent part of last season at Spanish club Xerez, holds a dual Italian/Brazilian nationality so would not face work permit issues.
QPR snapped up released West Ham United defender Danny Gabbidon yesterday.
