Rennes striker Mevlut Erdinc is a January target for QPR.
The People says QPR boss Harry Redknapp is homing in on Erdinc, 25. The Turkey star came within a whisker of joining Newcastle from Paris Saint-Germain in 2011.
But the move fell through and he switched to Rennes for £7m on a three-and-a-half-year deal instead.
