QPR in frame as ex-Newcastle defender Campbell wants London return

A move to QPR could be on for released Newcastle United defender Sol Campbell.

Campbell wants to play on next season and favours a London club.

He is a free-agent but he has no plans of retiring and aims to play in the Premier League around the capital.

"Yea, it’s not really worth you know, [sic] it’s the only level worth looking at really," Campbell told the Daily Mail about playing in the top-flight.

"We will see what happens, what comes through and what happens in pre-season. I’ve got a new family now based in London so it’s going to be kind of difficult for me to move around. I will try and do a pre-season and see how I feel afterwards."
