Both QPR boss Harry Redknapp and Adel Taarabt could be fined for their public slanging match this week.
The Telegraph says Tony Fernandes, the QPR chairman, gave the pair a dressing down for the spat that erupted over Taarabt's weight, ordering both men to end their war of words.
Taarabt is poised to be fined for his part in the falling out and it is understood that the QPR board are also considering whether or not to fine Redknapp.
The QPR manager's position has been thrown into doubt by the team's dismal start to the season and a club fine would put another question mark against his future.
