QPR have signed Bolton Wanderers striker Heidar Helguson on-loan after talks broke down with Charlton Athletic yesterday.

The forward agreed a deal until January 1 when both parties will decide on a permanent move. Helguson's move to Rangers had twice fallen through in disputes over fitness, wages and the length of the loan contract.
