QPR boss Harry Redknapp fears losing on-loan Tottenham pair Tm Carroll and Benoit Assou-Ekotto.

Redknapp would like to retain the services of loan stars Assou-Ekotto and Carroll but accepts the duo could return to Spurs following the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas.

He said: "It can happen, yes. We haven't got any control over it. I hope it doesn't happen as they've both been excellent loan signings for us.

"I think he [Assou-Ekotto] is very happy here and enjoying his football. He's playing well and we'd like to keep him."
