QPR are in the frame to sign departing Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.
The Mail on Sunday says should Lampard finalise a deal with new MLS team New York City FC, he could then agree a loan deal with QPR for the first phase of the Premier League season.
Lampard is considering his options after announcing he would be leaving Chelsea last week.
