QPR defender Taylor Parmenter has joined non-league Basingstoke Town on-loan.

The teenager signed a professional deal at Loftus Road in April after completing a two-year scholarship at the club and joins Town for an initial one-month loan.

Town boss Frank Gray said: "Taylor comes highly recommended and we have him initially for a month while things settle down."
