QPR defender Samba hits out at his transfer doubters

QPR defender Christopher Samba has hit back at critics over his move from Anzhi.

Samba has defended his £12million price tag and £100,000-a-week wages at QPR.

The former Blackburn defender told the Daily Mirror: "Nobody put a knife at the throat of anybody at QPR to come and discuss contracts.

"They wanted to extend my contract for another year at Anzhi. I could have earned more there. But I wanted to come back to England."
