QPR defender Nelsen happy mixing with Tiger Woods, Mark Zuckerberg

QPR defender Ryan Nelsen admits he mixed with Tiger Woods while doing his US college studies.

Nelsen played US football while studying for a law degree in political science - but he didn't finish the course because he met enough lawyers to make him realise it was not the life for him - at Stanford University - where a fellow student was Tiger Woods.

Nelsen said: "We met a few times on the driving range but he was practising mostly with Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook.

"I thought they didn't want to know a guy like me but he was a nice person."
