QPR defender Clint Hill is shocked by the ruthlessness of the Premier League.
Hill, 33, admits his first taste of English football's top tier has been an experience to forget.
He said: "When you are playing and not winning games you cannot enjoy it. This season has been horrible on the whole because we have not been doing that enough.
"We work all our lives to get to the pinnacle of our profession. I've had to wait until I'm 33, which is probably three or four years too late.
"But we've found that the Premier League is a brutal place and you get punished for your mistakes."
