QPR defender Clint Hill hailed Heidar Helguson after victory over Stoke City.
The Icelander struck twice in the win at the Brit.
Hill - also proving his worth in the Premier League - said: "Heidar might be 34 but he's still going. He's a tremendous pro to have around the place.
"There's a few of us still hanging around a bit!
"We know the situation. We know new players will come in and fight for their place but us older ones still have a bit to offer."
