QPR defender Gabbidon ready for kicking from Man Utd ace Rooney

QPR defender Danny Gabbidon knows he faces a major test against Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney tomorrow.

Gabbidon is expected to mark the England star.

He told The Sun: "I've played against him a few times now and he always causes problems.

"He's got everything - movement, technique, he can make goals, he can score goals and has that determination in him as well to do all of those things. As a defender, he is one of the players who you want to pit your wits against and try to do well.

"You know you have to be at the very top of your game if you are to stop him from making an impact.

"He's just so hard to play against because he's a very intelligent footballer too. He doesn't just play up front, he'll drop deep and drag you into places you don't really want to go.

"It makes the game a lot tougher. Luis Suarez was the same at Liverpool last week. He was always moving.

"It's going to be tough to keep Rooney quiet for the whole game but I've had some good battles with him. He's kicked me a few times and I've kicked him back."
