QPR have cut loose Gary O'Neil.
The Fulham Chronicle says O'Neil has been told he won't be offered a new deal at QPR as Harry Redknapp explores other midfield options instead.
The former West Ham midfielder sacrificed himself in the Wembley play-off final when he scythed down Derby County's Johnny Russell, who was clean through on goal.
Redknapp said: "Gary is another great guy but it has been difficult because I need to bring four or five in and in order to do that we need to make some room."
