QPR want to bring Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Michael Ballack back to England.
The former Chelsea star is off contract in June and expected to leave Bayer.
A move could happen sooner, with Leverkusen CEO Wolfgang Holzhauer said: "Our contract with Ballack runs until June 30. If he wants to get out early, we can certainly discuss that."
MLS clubs are also chasing the German legend.
