QPR have secured the services of veteran defender Ryan Nelsen following a short-term spell with Tottenham.
The 34-year old New Zealand international, who left Blackburn Rovers for Spurs in January, has signed a one-year deal with the R's and will arrive at Loftus Road on July 1 when his contract at White Hart Lane officially runs out.
"I like his winning attitude. He and all his staff just have an absolute desire to win, and that's what the Premier League is all about - If you haven't got that, you won't be successful.
"The owners have got fantastic ambition and it's exciting to become a part of that. There's a real buzz about the place and it is a privilege to be here.
"I have got the Olympics (with NZ U23 team) coming up and that will be a good way for me to get prepared.""I am really pleased to be joining QPR," Nelsen told the club's official website. "I have obviously got a lot of history with the manager (Mark Hughes) and that was a massive draw for me.
