Reports suggest that QPR are confident of clinching the signature of Rolando this week.
Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles suggests on his Sulia.com page that the R's are on the verge of finalising an 8million deal for the 27-year old Portuguese centre-back.
Porto have sidelined Rolando as punishment for not accepting a loan move to Loftus Road in the summer but it now appears as though West London will soon be his new home.
