QPR youth coach Marc Bircham is delighted Adel Taarabt is staying.
The R's rejected interest from PSG to keep hold of the midfielder.
Bircham told talkSPORT: "I think it's a big statement by the club, turning down bids and putting their faith in Adel.
"It's fantastic for the club that Adel is staying and it's fantastic for the Premier League. If he can produce half of what he did last year in the Premier League, it'll be some show."
