QPR closing in on Liverpool fullback Degen
Liverpool fullback Philipp Degen could sign for QPR today.
Degen has endured a miserable spell on Merseyside after his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2008, making just 13 appearances in all competitions.
He spent last season on loan at Bundesliga outfit VfB Stuttgart, but returned to Anfield for pre-season in July.
Dalglish is understood to be ready to let the 28-year-old full-back leave for a cut-price fee, believed to be less than £1m.
