QPR are closing in on a deal for Lazio midfielder Pasquale Foggia.
The R's interest in Foggia has been confirmed by their football adviser Gianni di Marzio.
Cesena were also keen, but have abandoned their pursuit this week after learning of QPR's interest.
Foggia is tied to Lazio until 2013, but is available from the Rome club.
