QPR chief Ferdinand: Ravel Morrison can't shake negative influences (even at Lazio)

QPR chief Les Ferdinand feels Ravel Morrison is still being held back by "negative infuences" even now in Italy with Lazio.

Morrison, a former Manchester United junior, had a spell at QPR before joining Lazio.

Ferdinand told The Times: "There are very talented players, but we need to see if they are able to fit into a group, without breaking the balance. Talent is important, but other things matter and will decide if the coach will want to work with him or not.

"The doors are open, but we must consider a few things.

"Some time ago I had a casual chat with Ravel in Germany, I always dedicated my time and would do so again. Ravel was led by negative influences, also in Rome, but I hope he can recover and show his great talent again."
