QPR vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has opened the door to signing Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe.

Defoe is considering his future at Spurs.

Bhatia told Sky Sports: "It would be hard to speculate at this point [on Defoe's transfer status]. It's not the right thing to do. Mark likes to have a long list of players! We'll see what happens."
