QPR chief Phillip Beard insists manager Harry Redknapp's job is safe.
While Beard has stressed the importance of the club staying up, he appeared to suggest it was too early in the season for any changes.
He said: "The Premier League is where we all want to be and we have to do everything possible to stay in the best League in the world.
"We need to make sure we retain our place so we can build on our exciting plans, both on and off the pitch.
"We have to remember that we are only eight games into the season and while we have not had the start we wanted, there is a long way to go."
