QPR boss Harry Redknapp has joined the battle for Celtic striker Gary Hooper.

The London Evening Standard says Redknapp is hoping to steal Celtic's prize asset Hooper with a bid of £4 million plus add-ons.

However, the recently relegated side may struggle to persuade the striker to move to the Championship when he has also sparked interest from Premier League sides Hull City and Norwich City.
