QPR chairman Tony Fernandes is confident ahead of the coming season.
QPR, who now embark on a 12-day pre-season tour of Malaysia and Indonesia, are keen to avoid the struggles that saw them almost relegated last term.
Fernandes expects this season to be far more straightforward and believes the acquisition of experienced players like Park, Ryan Nelsen and Andrew Johnson could be the catalyst.
"I think we have done it quietly without anyone really realising it," he said.
"We've picked up a really good level of young players and good level of experience, which I think we lacked last season and Mark highlighted.
"Mark showed me graphs of how many games our players had in the Premier League and it really wasn't a lot.
"It is the toughest league in the world and I think we have a good balance.
"Phil [Beard, chief executive] and me were SMSing each other while brushing our teeth this morning talking about the squad and I think we both have big smiles on our face.
"We have got a bit of work to do still, but it is looking positive."
