QPR boss Mark Hughes is determined to land a new centre-half.

The Daily Mail says the Rs are continuing to work on further deals with a centre-back still on their wanted list.

Manager Mark Hughes has targeted moves for Porto's Rolando, Tottenham's Michael Dawson and Real Madrid's Ricardo Carvalho, but has seen bids for the three stall and talks over a move for Wolfsburg's Danish international Simon Kjaer, 23, have also ground to a halt.
