QPR captain Clint Hill admits winning the fans' Player of the Year award left him "embarrassed".

Hill said he was "embarrassed" despite his pleasure in accepting the award.

He said: "Obviously I'm proud to win it but I'm embarrassed as well, with the season we've had. On a personal level it's been a very disappointing season for the team.

"As much as I appreciate the award I'd rather stay in the Premier League."
