QPR boss Warnock: Tottenham's Walker has the lot

QPR boss Neil Warnock says Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker has improved remarkably since his time at Loftus Road.

Ahead of today's game, Warnock was quick to thank the 21-year-old for his impact at Loftus Road last season and believes the best is yet to come.

"Kyle is a smashing lad and he really helped us out last year with his performances," he said.

"I think we were just what he needed.

"I don't think he was going anywhere in particular when he came over, but I think the way the lads are here at the club and the way I am gave him the platform to enjoy himself.

"Once you start enjoying yourself you get noticed and all credit to him. We were disappointed to lose him at Christmas but he did well at Villa.

"You take Kyle [for what he is]. He will make you pull your hair at times and then the next minute he will do a 150-yard run, go past four players, cross the ball and score a goal.

"He has got everything but you forget he is only a young lad."
