QPR boss Neil Warnock is eager to boost his midfield options this week.
The Sunday Express says Warnock has a shortlist of players he feels could help keep QPR in the top flight. But the only one likely to sign at the moment is Southampton winger Jason Puncheon, who is expected to complete a £1m move to QPR tomorrow.
The QPR boss is considering throwing Liverpool outcast Joe Cole a lifeline to help rescue his career in a season-long loan deal.
He is also prepared to fight it out with Ipswich for another midfield reject, Jimmy Bullard, from Hull.
