QPR boss Neil Warnock is planning a mega spending spree in January.

The Sun says the QPR boss wants to buy Blues' transfer-listed defender Alex and get midfielder Josh McEachran on loan.

Blackburn defender Christopher Samba and Manchester United striker Federico Macheda are also targets.

A top QPR source confirmed: "Neil will make bids for Alex, AJ and Samba and wants Macheda and McEachran on loan.

"He believes if he can get three or four of those names on his wish list then we will have a great chance of staying up."
