QPR boss Neil Warnock knows fans are anxious about a successful January market.

Rs owner Tony Fernandes has already asked fans to tweet their transfer targets to him.

Discussing the impact of the social media phenomenon on football clubs, Warnock admitted: "I am not a big Twitter fan. I know my chairman is!"

Despite having to temper his employer's excitement, Warnock added: "Sometimes they want players more than me and you can't curb that enthusiasm.

"But we are looking to get value for money. We are not going to throw money away stupidly."
