QPR are favourites for Hull City midfielder Jimmy Bullard.
The Daily Star says QPR boss Neil Warnock is set to seal a deal for Jimmy Bullard - and give him a surprise return to the Premier League at the age of 32.
Midfielder Bullard proved his fitness in a loan spell with mentor Paul Jewell at Ipswich last season, and now Rangers are working on a cash package to buy him from parent club Hull.
Bullard's on such big money at Hull, QPR cannot afford to pay them but the Tigers want him off their payroll and are working on a pay-off.
Warnock may end up taking Bullard on a season-long loan, although the player would prefer a permanent move that would set his career on a firm footing after years of turmoil.
