QPR boss Warnock eager to deal in Sunderland midfielder Malbranque

QPR boss Neil Warnock is ready to snap up Sunderland midfielder Steed Malbranque.

The People says Warnock is struggling to sign players and has switched his search to Malbranque.

The 31-year-old, who played in London previously at Fulham and then Tottenham between 2001 and 2008, will be available after Steve Bruce made a glut of signings for the Black Cats.

Malbranque is one of EIGHT players circulated to clubs on a private list by an agent.

QPR may take him on - but prefer a loan rather than to buy a player who is on huge wages. The Hoops will be stretched to pick up his salary and could not afford a transfer fee as well.
