QPR boss Neil Warnock admits he was delighted with the work they did in the transfer market after Tony Fernandes' takeover.
Warnock had enough time in the transfer window to bring in the likes of Armand Traore (Arsenal), Shaun Wright-Phillips (Manchester City) and Joey Barton (Newcastle United).
He told talkSPORT: "It's the longest ten days I've ever done, mentally I'm on about, working 20 hours a day. The chairman was in Malaysia so I was speaking to him at one o'clock in the morning somedays.
"It was one long slog to get all these players in.
"The chairman Tony Fernandes has been fantastic and Amit Bhatia who has come on board with him. They're just like little kids, it sounds silly but they're so excited about the whole situation and they've really supported me."
