QPR boss Warnock convinced keeping hold of Taarabt

QPR boss Neil Warnock is confident keeping hold of Adel Taarabt.

Rs skipper Taarabt, 22, has repeatedly been linked with a move away from Loftus Road since the club secured promotion.

With Tottenham entitled to 30 per cent of any fee as part of the deal that brought Taarabt from White Hart Lane, boss Warnock claims it would take a huge offer to convince new owner Tony Fernandes to cash in.

Warnock said: "I don't think we have ever had a substantial offer for Adel. If you get a small amount offered - and Spurs have a large percentage - it's a waste of time even thinking about it.

"I'm hoping we can bring four or five players in that will give Adel a better platform to use his ability and his skills."
